I view this project through the lense of programatized surface manipulations through folds. By integrating the O.P.E.N. network within the urban fabric typology of canal street, the mediateque begins to draw in the users of the secondary hubs and allows them to facilitate a further discussion and reconnected the public space as a forum for the spread of open source ideas.
